ICT REFLECTIONS

The development and impact of ICT within  the classroom and in today’s society cannot be overlooked, it is everywhere and our interaction with it affects all areas of our everyday life. As a learner I would like to describe and reflect on some of my experiences of ICT.

ICT competency is widely recognised as a core element to be integrated in education. Through my experience within early years I have seen the gradual development in this area, with specific training and resources given to many nursery settings to improve the opportunities for ICT exploration with the youngest children. However, this ICT initiative to inspire children to access ICT from a young age relies on the recognition of its importance by the teachers and staff within the nursery or setting. Children need the opportunity and time to explore ICT processes in order to build strong foundations within it. 

Therefore my ICT learning took place through my opportunity and time to explore and try out different technical techniques at home. Further through the school ICT was used a little more, however apart from the computer very few other resources were used.

        MY DREAM MY FUTURE..

All men dream, but not equally. Those who dream by night in the dusty recesses of their minds, wake in the day to find that it was vanity: but the dreamers of the day are dangerous men, for they may act on their dreams with open eyes, to make them possible.

All my life I dream to have a beautiful and simple life. I didn´t dream a lot. I just want a simple but it can make me happy. And it starts during my childhood life. When I first enter in a room and learn. My mind starts to think. And how it would be ? And who will help me in achieving this dream?

During my childhood life. I have already simple dreams. I want a beautiful toys, I also want chocolates and even candies. But as I grow older and learning something new. This simple dreams became at the highest level. I am dreaming more, expecting more for my selves. And as I enter my secondary level, this is the beginning of a real dream for my future. I felt very eager of what I want to become. I want this. I believe that I can do it will give me a better future. I want to become a chef. And when I enter in my college life, I really study harder. I focus everything in my studies. My parents also helped and support me at all times. This continue until I graduated.

And now this is me a great Hotel and Restaurant Manager in a very well-known hotel. I just graduated and my parents are very proud of me. It is my pleasure and honor to be a Hotel and Restaurant Manager. And I am very happy and proud of myself because I can do it. I achieve my dream. And this is my opportunity to thank my parents for the support and time to take good care of me and give all what I need. Thank you also to god for helping me. I am very happy. I just got an enough money for myself and for my family. I have my own simple house and I am contented of what I am right now. I didn´t stop to help others and help my family. And I am living very happy with all the persons that are important to me and I love the most.

CHANGE STARTS WITH ME..

It’s simple.. Everything we do or don´t do has an impact on the world we live in. It starts with me and ripples to you..

Recently, I have noticed that I have made mistakes. Said things I shouldn't have. Done things I normally wouldn't do. I have had an extensive amount of time to just sit down and reflect and look at life in general. Over the course of my life, bad things have happened to me, as they happen to anyone else. I am however, fortunate to be where I am and how I am today. Through bad experiences, I have not carried the bad over into my attitude or personality. I have become better through bad incidents. But that is what I wanted, so maybe that had a part in my development. Throughout my life, I have learned many lessons and applied them to better myself and others around me. I am not the type of person to hold a grudge AT ALL, I can forgive very easily, usually, and I get along very well with anyone and everyone.

What I needed to do in my life, and gave me inspiration for doing good and living for a greater cause than for myself. I hope you enjoy.

KANNAWIDAN is an Ilocano term which means “a feast of all heritages, practices and products” in Ilocos Sur

        Our Province  Ilocos Sur has a rich heritage and unique culture that are to be preserved for the next generations because it is observed that many of these traditions, songs, dances and other Ilocano culture are not familiar to the younger generations already. Children of today are paying more attention to the modern and novelty dances they seen on the television than the traditional ones. There is also a need to evaluate the different products of the different municipalities and the agricultural products and livestock of the farmers and fisher folks. They call it the KANNAWIDAN Ylocos Festival, it is also a time to commemorate the anniversary of Ilocos Sur as a province since it was separated on February 3, 1818.

  Ilocos Sur's Kannawidan Ylocos Festival has become star-studded. Some of the best singers and stars in the country have come to Quirino Stadium in Bantay nightly to perform for free courtesy of the Ilocos Sur provincial government with aim to offer happiness and entertainment to the Ilocanos. Mitoy Yonting during his performance at the Quirino Stadium that truly drew a huge crowd. The Ilocanos had a great time with the Philippines' rock icon Bamboo as he

rocked the Quirino Stadium.

As a conclusion,Kannawidan Festival is one way to appreciate the products of Ilocos Sur.You can entertain yourself or shop at the Kannawidan Festival mini market.It also show the hard work and creativity of Ylocano's.

NEW YEAR NEW ME

When the new year comes around it seems like the perfect time for self-improvement. Even though I’ve always failed my New Year’s resolutions, every year I promise myself that this time will be different.

New Year New Me, A new year always brings new opportunities, as well as old opportunities we already forget it.

True, some of those opportunities could be implement during the year however, the beginning of the year brings a special atmosphere that motivates action and that's an opportunity. And I know that you have your own New Year´s Resolution. Some of us they achieve their own resolutions. New me our days is counting to end our high school life will end. Some will change their attitudes, some will remain, and some will miss each other but we need to do it. I´m starting over a new pattern of thoughts a new connections to the word a new belief system in myself.

       A new year for a new you. New adventures, new experiences. Let go of  all your past mistakes. Forget all the negativity. A year to focus on all the positive things. A year to create new friendships. A year to believe in yourself, your best year yet.
